Vietnam’s import and export turnover in 2024 will reach 786,29 billion USD, of which the trade surplus will be 24,77 billion USD.
In December, total turnover Export and import of goods reached 70,53 billion USD, up 6,2% over the previous month and up 15,9% over the same period last year.
Export turnover of goods in December 12 reached 2024 billion USD, up 35,53% over the previous month. Compared to the same period last year, export turnover of goods in December increased by 5,3%; of which the domestic economic sector increased by 12%, the foreign-invested sector (including crude oil) increased by 12,8%.
In 2024, the total export turnover of goods reached 405,53 billion USD, an increase of 14,3% over the previous year.
In 2024, there will be 37 items with export turnover of over 1 billion USD, accounting for 94,3% of total export turnover (there are 8 items with export turnover of over 10 billion USD, accounting for 69%).
In 2024, the total import turnover of goods reached 380,76 billion USD, an increase of 16,7% over the previous year. In 2024, there were 46 imported goods with a value of over 1 billion USD, accounting for 93,1% of the total import turnover.
The import and export results of 2024 also marked the United States as Vietnam’s largest market, with a turnover of 119,6 billion USD.
